Born and raised on the Jersey Shoreline, Shannon has served in her close-knit community from a young age. Growing up, Shan was one of thirty (and counting!) cousins of the DiBernardo Dynasty, hailing from her mother’s one of eight siblings. Shannon’s early days were filled with tutus and pink ballet slippers in the extravagant dance world, where she gained a National Title at the young age of seven.

In her high school years, Shan was involved in Student Government as Vice President of her class, Coxswain of her high school rowing team, theatre kid, and international professional singer. She graduated at the top of her class at Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School and was a recipient of over 15 distinguished scholarships and awards.

Shannon earned two Bachelor of Arts degrees from the University of Delaware: Political Science with a focus on Law and American Politics, and Communications with a specialization in PR, Media, and Marketing. She minored in Law and Spanish fluency. In her time as an undergrad, Shannon was the President of her sorority, Tri Delta, partnered with St. Jude Children’s Hospital, served as the Vice President of Recruitment for the National Panhellenic Conference (NPC), and is a lifelong member of Alpha Kappa Psi Professional Business Fraternity. She graduated with honors from the Order of Omega and Lambda Pi Eta Communications Honors Societies in the top 15% of her graduating class.

Shannon also holds a title with the Miss Delaware USA Organization as a 2019 Semifinalist Top placeholder.
